MEASURABLE SET

This guide will walk you through the steps to access and utilize the Master Parameters module within the Workflow Design platform, specifically focusing on creating Question sets (Measurable Sets).

Pre Condition

The user should be logged in with valid credentials.

Permissions related to Measurable set

  • Can See Workflow Design Left Menu.
  • Can Create Measurable.
  • Can Edit Measurable.
  • Can Delete Measurable.
  • Can Upload Measurable Option.

Accessing "Measurable Set" Form

Step 1: Click on "Workflow Design".

Step 2: Click on "Master Parameters".

Step 3: Click on the "Measurable Set".

(Located on the top right corner)

Step 4: Click on the "Add Measurable Set" button.

STEPS FOR MASTER PARAMETERS

The form to be filled out will pop up.

Question Set

Step 5: Type in the name of the question set in the text box.

  • The Question set can have multiple sections.click on add section to add new section.
  • Each section includes Settings and Delete option.

Section Settings

  • When the user clicks on the Settings icon , a form is presented containing these options for customization.

MEASURABLE SET FORM

  • Section: Input field where the user specifies the section name.
  • Section Remarks: Input field for additional remarks or notes about the section.
  • View: Each section can be viewed in either normal view or table view.
    • Normal View: In the normal view, questions are displayed in a straightforward list or block format. Each section's questions are shown one after the other, making it easy to read and interact with them.
    • Table View: In the table view, questions are displayed in a table format. Users can add or remove columns to customize the table according to their needs.
  • Is Conditional: Toggle option to set whether the section is conditional.
  • Is Relative Dropdown Parent: Toggle option to determine if the section is a relative dropdown parent.

NOTE: If a question set are already avialable, the user will have the option to select it from the dropdown menu.

Delete Section

  • User can delete unnecessary sections if not required.

Select Question Type

  • In addition, users have the option to add questions to each section, with the flexibility for each section to accommodate any number of questions.
  • Users have the flexibility to select the type of question from the SELECT QUESTION TYPE menu.The available question types and their behaviours are as follows.

MEASURABLE SET QUESTION TYPE

1.Label

This option is set as the default. If the user selects "Label," it will be highlighted in green.

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also disabled by default .
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the Parameter.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.
  • Weightage: The default value for the "Weightage" is initially set to 0. The user has the option to change the value depending on the question.

2.Multiple Choice

If the user selects “Multiple choice”. It will be selected and highlighted in green.

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.
  • Fetch From Data: This is a toggle option,To fetch data from an external dataset, First enable the "Fetch from Dataset" toggle. This will reveal two dropdown menus
    • First for selecting the dataset
    • Second for choosing the column names from the selected dataset.
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the Parameter.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.
  • Weightage: The default value for the "Weightage" is initially set to 0. The user has the option to change the value depending on the question.

Users can add multiple options for the question.

When the user clicks on the options the following list to be filled.

  1. Options: Input field where the user provides the multiple-choice options.
  2. Set as Default: Dropdown to select a default option from the provided choices.
  3. Is Fatal: Toggle option that marks the question as critical.
  4. Is Escalated: Toggle option that flags the question for escalation if triggered.

3.Short Answer

If the user selects “Short Answer”. It will be selected and highlighted in green.

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the parameter.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.
  • Weightage: The default value for the "Weightage" is initially set to 0. The user has the option to change the value depending on the question.

When the user clicks on the text field box the following list to be filled according to selected question.

  1. Options: Users can add any information related to question.
  2. Min and Max Length: Predefined between 1 to 250 characters. Can be changed according to the requirements
  3. Value Type: can select the required option from the Dropdown menu.
    • All: Can accept both text and numbers.
    • Only Text: Restricted to accepting only letters.
    • Only Number: Limited to accepting - only numeric values.
  4. Allow Special Characters: Toggle button (default is allowed).

4.Drop Down

If the user selects “Drop Down”. It will be selected and highlighted in green.

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.

NOTE: Options can be entered manually or, if the user needs to upload multiple options, they can use the third icon under "Actions."

5.Relative DropDown

If the user selects “Relative Drop Down”. It will be selected and highlighted in green.

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.

When the user clicks on the option the following list should be filled.

  1. Options: Input field where the user provides the multiple-choice options.
  2. Set as Default: Dropdown to select a default option from the provided choices.
  3. Is Fatal: Toggle option that marks the question as critical.
  4. Is Escalated: Toggle option that flags the question for escalation if triggered.

Note: Options can be added manually or, for a large number of options, by uploading an Excel document using the 3rd or 4th icon under "Actions."

6.File Upload

If the user selects “File Upload”. It will be selected and highlighted in green.

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the parameter.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.
  • Weightage: The default value for the "Weightage" is initially set to 0. The user has the option to change the value depending on the question.

When the user clicks on the option the following fields to be filled will be visible.

  1. Options: Input field where the user provides the multiple-choice options.
  2. Set as Default: Dropdown to select a default option from the provided choices.
  3. Is Fatal: Toggle option that marks the question as critical.
  4. Is Escalated: Toggle option that flags the question for escalation if triggered.

When the user clicks on Settings Icon following list to be filled according to the option given.

  • Options: Input field for users to provide additional information.
  • Allowed Format: Users can specify the allowed formats for file uploads from the dropdown menu.
    • Add Format: Button to add a new format.
  • Upload Multiple Files: Toggle option to enable or disable multiple file uploads.
  • Allow Delete: Toggle option to allow or disallow users to delete uploaded files.
  • Max Size: Default set to 1 MB, users can adjust the maximum file size if needed.

7.Radio Button

If the user selects “Radio Button”. It will be selected and highlighted in green.

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the Parameter.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.
  • Weightage: The default value for the "Weightage" is initially set to 0. The user has the option to change the value depending on the question.

For the radio button option:

  1. Options: Input field where the user provides the multiple-choice options.
  2. Set as Default: Dropdown to select a default option from the provided choices.
  3. Is Fatal: Toggle option that marks the question as critical.
  4. Is Escalated: Toggle option that flags the question for escalation if triggered.

8.Date

If the user selects “Date”. It will be selected and highlighted in green

User has the option to click on the calendar icon to select a particular date.

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the Paramater.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.
  • Weightage Default Value: The default value for the "Weightage" is initially set to 0. The user has the option to change the value depending on the question.

when the user clicks on calender icon the following list should be filled according to selected question.

  1. Options:Input field for users to provide additional information.
  2. Max Date:
    • None: No date restriction.
    • Current date: Whatever date is selected.
    • Current date +: The selected date plus no of days.
    • Current date -: The selected date minus no of days.
  3. Min Date:
    • None: No date restriction.
    • Current date: Whatever date is selected.
    • Current date +: The selected date plus no of days.
    • Current date -: The selected date minus no of days.
  4. Default Date: Toggle option. By default it is diabled.

9.Time

If the user selects “Time”. It will be selected and highlighted in green

User has the option to click on the clock icon to select a specific time.

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the Parameter.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.
  • Weightage: The default value for the "Weightage" is initially set to 0. The user has the option to change the value depending on the question.

The user has the option to click on the time icon and select a particular time.

  1. Option: Input field for users to provide additional information
  2. Max Time: This setting allows you to specify the maximum time limit for a particular operation or process.
    • All (Default)
    • Current time: Time at this moment.
    • Current time +: The selected time plus the required time.
    • Current time -: The selected time minus the required time.
  3. Min Time: This setting allows you to specify the minimum time limit for a particular operation or process.
    • All (Default)
    • Current time: Time at this moment.
    • Current Time +: The selected time plus the required time.
    • Current time -: The selected time minus the required time.
  4. 12hr Format: This setting toggles between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
    • On: Enables 12-hour time format (e.g., 01:00 PM).
    • Off: Enables 24-hour time format (e.g., 13:00).

10.Text Box

If the user selects “Text Box”. It will be selected and highlighted in green

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.
  • Is Calculated Field: This is a toggle option that allows the user to set up calculated fields. It is initially set to "off" by default.
  • If enabled, another icon appears. When the user clicks on it, a tab opens where they can add variables and define the final expression.
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the Parameter.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.
  • Weightage: The default value for the "Weightage" is initially set to 0. The user has the option to change the value depending on the question.

when the user clicks on text box the following list should be filled according to selected question.

  1. Option: Input field for users to provide additional information.
  2. Min and Max Length: Predefined between 1 to 250 characters.
  3. Masking length: is by default set 0
  4. Value Type: Dropdown menu(All, Only Text, Only Number,Is PAN,is Email)
  5. Allow Special Characters: Toggle button (by default it is Enabled).

11.Relative MultiSelect

If the user selects “Relative Multiselect”. It will be selected and highlighted in green

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the Parameter.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.

12. System Mapping

  • Required: The "Required" field is a toggle option that the user can switch on or off. By default, it is set to "off," allowing the user to specify whether the question is mandatory.
  • Escalated Field: This is a toggle option, allowing the user to indicate whether the question is part of the escalated stage view. This is also defaulted to "off" initially.
  • Measurable Parameter: This field is a dropdown menu where the user has the option to select the Parameter.
  • Minimum and Maximum Limits: The values for both are initially set to default for min limit set to 1 maximum limit set to 250. User can adjust these values as needed based on their requirements.
  • Weightage: The default value for the "Weightage" is initially set to 0. The user has the option to change the value depending on the question.

This feature allows users to select multiple options from a list of relative options.

  1. Options: Input field where the user provides the multiple-choice options.
  2. Set as Default: Dropdown to select a default option from the provided choices.
  3. Is Fatal: Toggle option that marks the question as critical.
  4. Is Escalated: Toggle option that flags the question for escalation if triggered.

Click on the settings icon and the options to be filled will appear

  1. Options: Input field where the user provides multiple-choice options that will appear in the dropdown or multi-select list.
  2. System Name: Dropdown menu where the user selects the system to which the options will be mapped.
  3. Select Type: Radio button to choose the selection type — either Dropdown (single choice) or Multiselect (multiple choices allowed).
  4. User Specific Only:This option is enabled by default. It determines whether the selected system mapping should apply only to the currently logged-in user. If disabled, the mapping may apply globally or to multiple users.

Configuring a Calculated Field

When the Calculated Field option is enabled for any question type, an additional icon becomes visible:

The user must define values for any type of question.

For example, in the image below, we have selected a Text Box question type and defined Three different questions: First, Second, and Third

Next, a Result variable is created, and the Calculated Field toggle is enabled for this result question.

Configuring the Calculated Field

  1. Click on the Calculated Field icon – this opens the Calculated Field Settings form.
  2. Add Variables – Click on the "Add Variables" button and enter variable names in the "Enter Value" section.
  3. Choose Related Questions – Select questions from the dropdown menu, which lists all previously defined questions.
  4. Define the Calculation – In the Final Expression field, enter the arithmetic expression that defines how the values should be calculated.

How It Works in a audit Form

When this question is added to a stage:

  • As users enter numerical values in the defined questions, the result is automatically calculated based on the specified expression.
  • The Read-Only toggle can be enabled to prevent users from modifying the calculated value manually.

System Mapping – How It Works

  1. Select Question Type: Choose "System Mapping" as the question type when creating or editing a form question.

  2. Open Settings: Click on the settings (gear) icon next to the question.

  3. Configure the Fields:

  4. Choose the System Mapping source from the dropdown menu (e.g., Location, Department, Equipment Type, etc.).

  5. Set the input type:

    • Dropdown – User can select one option.
    • Multi-select – User can select multiple options.
    • Enable "User-Specific Only" Toggle (Optional): If enabled, the options shown will be filtered based on the specific user (e.g., show only locations assigned to the user).

How it works in the Audit Form

When this System Mapping question is added to a stage in the form:

  • The dropdown or multi-select will dynamically show options related to the selected system mapping source.
  • For example:
    • If "Location" is selected as the system mapping source...
    • Then, during the form stage, the dropdown will list all available Locations.
    • If "User-Specific Only" is enabled, it will show only the locations assigned to the logged-in user.

Step 6: Save or Cancel

  • Save: After filling in all necessary details, click the "save" button to save the form.
  • Cancel: Click the "Cancel" button to cancel the process and clear the form.

View or Search Measurable set

  • View Created Measurable Set: Once the Measurable set is created it will be displayed along with Remarks, the date when the field set was Created On and the Status.
  • Search any Particular Measurable Set: The user has to search for any particular measurable set the user can search using the search bar.

1.Delete

  • Click the Delete Icon Locate the delete icon next to the field you wish to delete.

2.Edit

  • Click the Edit Icon to enable editing mode, then make the necessary changes. After editing, save the changes to update the information.

3.Independent Dropdown

Step 1: Click on the "3rd Icon".

A window will open with all the dropdown/multi selection questions from the measurable set.

Step 2: A window will open with all the dropdown/multi selection questions from the measurable set.

Step 3: If the user wants to upload the data for induvial question. Select that particular Question and then Click on Export Sample Format. The Excel file will download.

Step 4: Enter the required details in that downloaded Excel sheet.

Step 5: Drag and drop the excel sheet.

Step 6: Click on the Save button

4.Relative Dropdown

This feature allows you to bulk-upload question options and their relationships (like parent-child dropdowns) to your question set, making it easier to manage complex dropdowns like location details.

Step 1: Open the Upload Window

  • Click on the 4th icon (Cloud Upload Icon) on the question set toolbar. MEASURABLESET CLOUDICON
  • A window will pop up with the name of your question set.

Step 2: Click on the "Upload" Option

  • A new form will appear titled "Upload Relative Options." Upload Form
In this form:
  • Delete existing options toggle:
    • Turn this ON if you want to clear existing options before uploading new ones.
  • LEVEL 0 (Question):
    • Select the primary (parent) dropdown question from your question set.
  • You can then add LEVEL 1 or more, to define relative dropdowns (child questions).

Step 3: Export the Excel Template

  • Click "Export Excel" to download a pre-formatted Excel sheet containing the selected questions and structure.

Step 4: Fill in the Excel File

  • Open the Excel file and fill in the required values:
    • E.g., for a "Location Details" question set:
      • LEVEL 0 = State
      • LEVEL 1 = City (relative to the selected state)
      • LEVEL 2 = Pincode (relative to the selected Pincode)

Step 5: Drag and Drop or Browse to Upload

  • Return to the form and either drag the updated Excel file or use the "Browse" option to select it.

Step 6: Click "Upload Excel"

  • Once uploaded, a success message will appear confirming that all options were added.

📌 Example: Location Details with Relative Dropdowns

Let’s say you have a question set named "Location Details" that includes: Uploaded Structure

  • LEVEL 0 = State
  • LEVEL 1 = City (relative to the selected state)
  • LEVEL 2 = Pincode (relative to the selected Pincode) Options Added

✅ In the Audit form:

  • When a user selects a State, only the related city will appear in the next dropdown.
  • After selecting a city, only the relevant pincode will be shown. In Audit Form

Cancel: Click the "Cancel" button to cancel the process and clear the form.

  • When the user clicks on the duplicate icon, the user has an option to create a duplicate set of the data.
