SYSTEM NAMES

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for creating, searching, and managing system names within the application. Users can easily create a new system name, search for existing ones, and perform actions such as editing or deleting a system name using the provided interface.

Pre Condition

The user should be logged in with valid credentials.

Permission related to System Names

  • Can See User Setup Left Menu
  • Can See System Names Left Menu

Accessing "System Names" Section

Step 1: Click on "User Setup".

Step 2: Click on "System Names".

Step 3: Click the "+Create" button (located on the top right corner).

A form will open for entering system name details.

Step 4: Fill in the form details

  • System Name: Enter the system name in the text box.

Step 5: Create or Cancel

  • Create: Click the "Create" button to save the new system name.
  • Cancel: Click the "Cancel" button to abort the process and reset the form.

Note: Once the System Name is created, it will appear under User Management > User Mapping > System Names.

Viewing or Searching System Names

  • Search: Use the search bar and dropdown to filter system names based on selected criteria.
  • View Created System Names: All created system names are displayed in a list below the filter bar.

Manage System Names: Actions

1. Edit

  • Click the Edit Icon to modify a system name. After editing, save the changes to update the information.

2. Delete

  • Click the Delete Icon to remove a system name from the list.

Upload Relative Mapping

Step 1: Click the "Upload Relative Mapping" button on the top right.

Step 2: Upload Relative Options Popup

Once you click "Upload Relative Mapping," a popup form appears.

  • Delete existing options? Toggle the switch if you want to remove current mappings before uploading new ones.
  • Question: Select the system name from the dropdown.
  • Add Level: Click + Add Level if you want to add multi-level hierarchy mappings.
  • Remove Level: Click + Remove Level to delete an added level.
  • Export Excel: Export the current system mapping to an Excel file.
  • Download Option Excel: Download a sample Excel template for uploading new mappings.
  • Upload Excel: Drag and drop your file or browse to upload the filled Excel.
