Data Upload Error Handling¶
When a user uploads a dataset file, the system performs automatic validation to ensure the data matches the expected formats and data types for each field.
Common Validation Errors¶
- Invalid Data Type: For example, entering alphabetic characters in a field expected to be numeric.
- Incorrect Field Length: For instance, providing more than 10 digits in a phone number field.
Error Notification and Resolution¶
If the system detects any issues during the upload:

- A popup notification will immediately inform the user that the upload has validation error occured.
-
The popup includes an option to download Error log, which provides a detailed report of:
- The exact row(s) where the error occurred
- The specific field(s).
- The reason for the validation failure (e.g., "Datatype", "Phone number exceeds maximum length")
